GRANTS & FUNDS

The support from generous trusts, foundations and other grant-giving bodies allow us to deliver our services to hundreds of families and impact positively to lives in the community. We are thankful to be recipients of grants from the following organisations:

We were awarded a 3 year Reaching Communities grant from the National Lottery in 2020, and a continuation for another 3 years in 2023. The money from this fund has allowed us to implement a staff team, improve systems and databases and ultimately formalise our processes to allow us to develop for expansion and growth. This will allow us to reach more families.

The Garfield Weston Foundation have granted Daniel’s Den with an award to support the Charity’s core costs for a year.

BRENT NCIL is currently sponsoring our Lindsay Park Baptist Group in Kingsbury until October 2023.

The Southall Trust are currently sponsoring two Session Leaders over until 2025.

We have received grant funding running weekly nature and sustainability series in Summer 2023, and accompanying videos.

We received a community grant from the Origin Housing Association to support our group in Willesden.

The Souter Charitable Trust have kindly granted us an award for our project The Net, which is a work with asylum seeking families in Brent.

Past grants: Wembley Central Big Local, Wembley Park Community Fund, National Lottery Community Fund, Comic Relief…

Our motto TEAM Together Everyone Achieves More permeates all that we do. Would your company like to make a difference to an inspiring charity by raising vital funds or offering help? We would really value your support. We are delighted to be working with the following businesses to make a difference to families in Brent and beyond.

CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS

Property and asset management company Quintain Living manage many of the new apartment buildings in Wembley Park. Daniel’s Den have built a strong relationship with their Community Engagement team and are currently receiving sponsorship for our Parent and Toddler activities in Wembley Park.

John Sisk & Sons are contractors part of the development of Wembley. For years the team have donated beautiful wooden handmade toys made by the apprentices in their HQ in Ireland, donated time and resource to help make over our offices, move and remove heavy equipment with their vans, sponsor the crafts that are available at all of our sessions and many of our Sowing Seed events.

Staff and volunteers organised the most amazing makeover of the hut at St Andrews in Sudbury. Many Tesco stores across London were involved. It was a project where the two mottoes ‘Together Everyone Achieves More’ and ‘Every Little Helps’ are perfectly matched.

They have also visited our group and donated fruit plus a couple of bags of bunnies. This led to the emergence of Funny Bunny who has become a hugely active member of Daniel’s Den, especially the promotions team.

A staff team from Hilton volunteered to paint one of our premises and also completed several sponsored walks in order to raise funds for our work. This enabled us to organise trips to Willows farm, buy great equipment which is making the families experiences more exciting.
