We run a variety of Special Weeks throughout the year, where parents and carers have the opportunity to get involved and enjoy a memorable moment with their little ones.
Nativity Week
This takes place during the first week of December. The children are given a box of dressing up clothes and they can become angels, shepherds, kings, Mary and Joseph and or even a sheep. The story is read and the children (and parents) act it out. It truly is a wonderful time all round – and a great photo opportunity.
Healthy Eating Week
We do like to encourage healthy eating as much as possible and fruit is served at every session. During the spring term we have a Healthy Eating Week when we invite someone in to talk about the importance of good health – one year we had an oral health advisor who showed the children how to brush their teeth and gave out free toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Sports Week
Sports Week takes place during the summer term. Activities are organised for the children and parents to have fun and this includes balancing beans bags on your head, ball relay, sack races etc. All participants receive a certificate for taking part.
